dO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
I am considered an “In-Network Provider” in North Carolina with Aetna, Cigna, Quest, Optum, and most Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) plans. I am considered an “In-Network Provider” in Georgia with Aetna, Cigna, Optum, Carelon and Quest Behavioral Health. Costs will vary depending on the plan and type of coverage you have. I can check your benefits before we get started so you know the cost more clearly. I do not currently accept insurance for Couples or Family Therapy sessions.
Do you have sliding scale options?
Yes- if my standard fee is too high for you, you do not have insurance, or if your current finances make it difficult to afford services, I offer a few sliding scale/reduced fee spots on my caseload. Please let me know this during your initial contact so I can work with you to provide an alternative financial agreement. These spots are limited and time-capped.

Good Faith Estimate Notice
Effective January 1, 2022, a federal ruling went into effect called the “No Surprises Act”. Individuals who are not enrolled in a health insurance plan, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
